A concert performance featuring musical selections from 1776 will be held at the request of The Office of Senator Bob Hedlund at the Massachusetts State House Grand Staircase in Boston on Tuesday, July 28 at 12 noon. Three members of the 1776 the Musical cast are affiliated with or work at the State Capitol, a notable tie to the musical’s theme of originating our nation’s Declaration of Independence.
