The award-winning Company Theatre announces non-equity open call auditions for the premiere production of Company for the Holidays, an original theatrical spectacular, on Sunday, September 17, 1 pm at The Company Theatre Center for Performing Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell. Company for the Holidays is directed by Zoe Bradford and Jordie Saucerman, with music direction and several original arrangements by Steve Bass and choreography by Sally Ashton Forrest. All roles are open for casting, further information and a rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions.
Gather ‘round family and friends for this season’s spectacular event, Company for the Holidays! In song and dance, a gifted large ensemble cast recreates your holiday favorites and reimagines Christmas classics. Contemporary and classic settings of the most adored holiday music radiate joy including Happy Holidays, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Santa Baby, White Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, All I Want for Christmas and more.
With nostalgia and humor, a special second-act original comedy A Child’s Christmas in Bahston by Zoe Bradford premieres. Two very different worlds collide in a whirlwind of activity and holiday mishaps as Boston’s North Shore meets the South Shore! Set in the 1970’s, a man recollects one unique holiday from the age of 12, when his Cohasset-based family spent a very memorable Christmas Eve with relatives in Revere. Various character roles of all ages will be cast. Company for the Holidays concludes with a rockin’ Gospel style contemporary retelling of the Nativity story, uplifting all with the joy and spirit of the Christmas season!

Audition candidates are encouraged to dress appropriately for movement, bring a headshot or
snapshot, a resume is helpful, but not required. Vocal solo audition music will be available, and an audition accompanist will be provided.
Actors auditioning for A Child’s Christmas in Bahston will be asked to read from the script, character descriptions will be available at www.companytheatre.com on or after September 11, or at auditions.

Rehearsals for Company for the Holidays are held Mondays and Thursdays from 7 to 10 pm,
Sundays from 1 to 6 pm. Performances are held from November 24 through December 17, with
show times at 7:30 pm from Thursday through Saturday, Saturday matinee performances at 4 pm and Sunday matinee performances at 3 pm. Tickets are available for $41 to $43. Family and Friends Fridays offers the limited quantity purchase of four or more tickets for Friday
performances at $38 per ticket by calling or visiting the box office in person only. For a
