ACT Summer Workshop is a three-week program. Children choose six classes per day that meet Monday through Friday. The program culminates with an all-day ARTS FESTIVAL on July 12th which showcases the workshops. There is a variety of arts-related classes ranging from dance, music, drama and art to video and musical theater. Created for children ages 8-18, all classes are taught by a talented staff of professional choreographers, directors, musicians, teachers, and artisans. The summer 2008 Summer Workshop is held at The Company Theatre's state-of-the-art complex located at 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell.
DONALD MESSINGER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Created in memoriam for our past President of the Board of Directors, we are awarding a limited number of full and partial scholarships to talented students who need financial assistance. Request a scholarship applications via email: act@companytheatre.com.

COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING (CIT) PROGRAM
Teens 15-18 may apply for the program. A CIT assists counselors two periods per day. In exchange, they may enroll in four classes for $475.00 tuition. This affords the more advanced students an opportunity to share their skills as well as continue their growth toward becoming a well-rounded performer. Print and fill out the 2008 ACT Summer Workshop Application/Emergency Form.
Mail with a non-refundable deposit of $300.00 to secure a spot for your child. Your deposit will be applied to your tuition expense. Please be sure to include on the application an email address that you check frequently, as we would like to correspond through that medium.
CHOOSING CLASSES
In May, we will email an ACT link which will have the course descriptions and schedule for the Summer Workshop. Once you receive this information, you and your child must select a first and second class choice for each period. The faster you respond to that email, the better the chance of being enrolled in your first choice classes. Every effort is made to give students their first choice classes. Sometimes it is impossible to accommodate everyone, due to the popularity of some classes.
Students will be registered into a class in the order their class request was received.
Please be aware when making this non-refundable deposit that your child may not receive all of his/her "first choice" classes.

LAB FEES
Some classes have lab fees to cover supplies, especially art classes.
There is a cap of $75.00 per child on lab fees.
